Theater Production Manager
The Theatre Production manager will manage day-to-day operations of a 375-seat Proscenium Arch performance space. Primary duties include providing technical support for all Arts & Communication Department student productions including technical scenic design, lighting and sound design, and serving as Head Carpenter. Provide technical support to all aspects of the Arts & Communication Department, including, but not limited to, repair and upkeep of classroom multi-media tech and hard goods, where feasible, and recommend avenues for purchases and service needs.
Evaluate all technical riders and requests of incoming groups to determine if space can accommodate needs. Once scheduled in the theater, act as primary college contact for all college wide, and outside groups. Provide on-site support for lighting and sound augmentation for all theater users. Evening and weekend hours will be required. Flexible schedule based on production schedule.
Job Requirements:
Education Required: Bachelor's degree with one year of required experience; or Associates degree with 3 years of required experience or 5 years of required experience.
Experience Required: Experience in a technical theater position with a background and knowledge in digital media and educational technology.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
- Community college experience
- Ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationship with supervising personnel, co-workers, all college employees and the public
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Must be able to travel between the college's two campuses and other sites
- Bilingual skills

Salary: $47,408- $60,000 per annum; commensurate with experience. This is a Staff & Chair, Grade 40, 12 month position.
